The last few months have taken a lot of time time and energy from everyone involved in setting up Rockets Netball club. Now that we are an official association, it’s time to celebrate, say thank you to our members and make some memories together.

November 5th is fireworks night in the UK, where many of our members are from, so it was fitting that this became the date of our official launch party… a space themed launch party! We suggested that those attending the party should dress in ‘space themed attire’; anything from a sparkly jumper or sequin dress to full on fancy dress. We didn’t expect so many of our members to be so enthusiastic and really get into the party spirit… but they certainly did!

A big thank you to the ladies who helped us set up the room: Lisa (x 3) & Jo. The restaurant was really impressed with the decorations and the effort we’d all made. On that note, a big thank you needs to go to Clive, Lorraine, Bruno and the team at Charrete restaurant in Cabanas<\/a>. They handled the event brilliantly, the food was excellent and we all had a fab time. We look forward to working together again with you at our next event.

Keep up to date with Rockets events on our new Calendar. This week, for example, 2 of our members will start their Level 1 coaching qualifications and on Saturday 18th November we have our first tournament at Browns Sport Resort in Vilamoura.
